Since the first murder there's no any news media which report about the case so the detective Patrick take a little break because he didn't stand on his house's door for weeks now and his family didn't see him for about a month or so. So he carry three bags with him to his family.
" Hodiii" he knock the door.
"Karibuuu" a female voice answered as she run to open the door
"Asante" he answered
" Shikamoo Baba" a female voice greet
"Marahaba my daughter how are you?" He asked after answered
"Am fine how are you?" She asked
" Am fine my daughter " he answered
"Mama dad is here" she said loud to her mother and then she said"dad did you know I have a brother?"
"Yes I do his name is Benedict" he answered
" Did you come with any gift?" She asked
" Yes I do this is your gift" he said
" Oh!!! Thank you dad May God bless you " she said as her mother enter the room. (Living Room)
"How are you Baba Rehema?" She asked
"Am fine my wife how was your day?" He asked
"Worse, U WERE SO QUITE LIKE YOU NEGLECT YOUR FAMILY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU YOU TAKE MONTHS WITHOUT VISIT YOUR FAMILY SLEEP WITH YOUR FAMILY OK! JUST FOR THE KID AT LEAST AND YOUR JOB PLACE IS LIKE FEW KILOMETRES FROM HERE" his wife said angrily
"Here I am my wife what the problem?" He asked
" SOMEONE TRY TO BREAK INTO OUR HOUSE YESTERDAY AND BENEDICT WAS SERIOUS SICK AND THERE'S NO ONE TO STAY WITH MY REHEMA" his wife continue to complain
"Am sorry my wife I didn't knew that so where did you get the money for the hospital?" He asked his wife
" I use all the savings" she said
" Ok don't worry I have some and here is 10 kilos of rice, 10 kilos of maize flour and Beans ok?" He said to his wife as he carry three bags inside
" Ok your welcome" she said as Rehema turn on their old television
" Dad when you can buy a new bundle for our decoder?". Rehema asked
" Pray to God that your dad will get money ok? He answered
"Don't worry my daughter God hear children's prayers” he said to his daughter while his wife is cooking
All over sudden his phone rings and the name appear in his screen is unknown so he pick it up and start to talk
“ Hello handsome” a voice of man heard in other aide of the call
“ Hello what do you want?" He asked because he's already know who was talking
“ great you recognize my voice that great” the voice said and then laugh
“ Just saying hi to my old foe I see now your happy with your family” the voice said then hung the phone
" Damn it!!" He said then start to ask himself many questions where is this man might or this man was the intruder whom his wife talking about but he got no answer so he go to bed to take some rest.
" Am going to take a Knapp so don't bother maybe if it is emergency" he said while he go to sleep
Two hours later his daughter wake him up with fear on her face and shaking voice.
" Dad there's someone outside our house looking in our house”
" Really?" He asked as he wake up and look at the window and he saw a figure on the distance so he panicked and get up fast run outside, after he get outside he saw nobody outside in every side that scare him a lot. After getting inside he look at his phone and saw it was 4 am so he decide not to sleep but guarding his house.
